I was still hoping after all this time that the guys from LDB would call me for an interview. So, with fingers crossed, I have been remotely checking my voice mail at home since last week, wishing that they would.
And every time I hear this message, "You've got one new message," my heart jumps for joy. But when I hear that it's from a telemarketer or a wrong number, I just roll my eyes in frustration. Of course, there are days when there are simply no messages, which even add to my frustration.
However, I continue to convince myself that probably the hiring manager is on vacation or too busy to pick candidates. Either way, I'm hoping against hope.
